How to Install Flysky Fsgt3c USB Driver for Windows 8

If you have a Flysky Fsgt3c transmitter and want to use it with your computer for virtual RC racing, you may need to install a USB driver for Windows 8. The Flysky Fsgt3c is a 2.4GHz radio system that comes with a mini USB port and a 3.5mm to USB cord. However, some users have reported that Windows 8 does not recognize the transmitter as a PPM compatible controller automatically, unlike Windows 7.

In this article, we will show you how to install the Flysky Fsgt3c USB driver for Windows 8 in a few simple steps.

  • Download the Flysky Fsgt3c USB driver from this link. This is a forum post where a user shared the driver file that he found on the internet. The file name is flysky_usb_driver.zip. You can also try to find the driver on the official Flysky website here, but we could not locate it at the time of writing.

  • Extract the zip file to a folder on your computer. You should see two files: flysky_usb_driver.inf and flysky_usb_driver.cat.

  • Connect your Flysky Fsgt3c transmitter to your computer using the mini USB port and the 3.5mm to USB cord. Make sure the transmitter is turned on.

  • Open the Device Manager on your computer. You can do this by pressing Windows+X and selecting Device Manager from the menu.

  • Look for an unknown device under Other devices or Human Interface Devices. It should have a yellow exclamation mark next to it.

  • Right-click on the unknown device and select Update driver software.

  • Select Browse my computer for driver software.

  • Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

  • Select Have disk.

  • Browse to the folder where you extracted the zip file and select flysky_usb_driver.inf.

  • Click OK and then Next.

  • You may see a warning message saying that Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software. Click Install this driver software anyway.

  • Wait for the installation to finish. You should see a message saying that Windows has successfully updated your driver software.
